Tonight Reading take on Blackburn Rovers at the Madejski Stadium, in what could prove to be a massive game. A win for the Royals tonight would see them climb out of the drop zone for the first time since December, so hopefully Jose Gomes can use that to give his side confidence ahead of kick off this evening.
Ovie Ejaria may have recovered from illness to be able to return to the squad tonight after missing out on the trip to Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend. Some reports are suggesting that Nelson Oliveira could make a stunning recovery to be able to feature in tonight’s fixture after his absence due to the stamp on his face from Tyrone Mings against Villa.
If Oliveira doesn’t make a return however, it is expected that Yakou Meite will get the opportunity to start up front.
Blackburn have no fresh injury concerns to deal with so Tony Mowbray will have his side as full strength as possible.
