Williams set to sign?

Left back Williams has been at Scunthorpe since he was 16 and came through the youth ranks at Glanford Park, and has since gone on to make 196 appearances for the Iron.


On Monday though Scunthorpe confirmed that he had left the club and is set to sign for another Championship club, which is believed to be the Royals.


Of course we are after a left back with Ryan Bertrand now returned to Chelsea and major doubts over the long term fitness of Chris Armstrong who missed all of last season with a knee injury.
