Vital Reading asked Royals fans what player they felt was most likely to leave in January and here are the results.

As the results show, if anyone was to be off in January, that Alfie looks like the most likely, due to his lack of game time. The rise of fitness and form of Billy Sharp has certainly done him no favours and has probably made him third choice in Adkins’ mind.
I still doubt he would leave, but if anyone was to leave, I can understand why fans think it would be him. Akpan was second in the poll, as he has been calling for a loan move away in the short-term. However, he is likely to start against Huddersfield tomorrow.
