With great thanks to Vital Ipswich editor Dave, we ask him a few questions on his club and Saturday’s game……

———————————————————

1) What are your hopes and expectations for the season?

Well it was to be serious promotion candidates but right now it is to win a game, or least not go to five straight defeats.

2) What are your strengths and weaknesses as a team?

Good keeper, experienced players and ability to score from all over the pitch. Shaky defence, old legs that get tired, lack of concentration and strange decisions selection wise and tactically from the manager.

3) Who are the player/s to look out for?

Stockdale is a good keeper. Cresswell gets forward well and Carson has energy out wide. JET always looks as if he can do something special and Andrews belts them in from range, so can Bullard but it has been a while.

4) What is your current opinion of Paul Jewell?

Not overly impressed but I’m not in the ‘sack him’ camp. We need some stability.

5) What’s your prediction for the game?

No disrespect but this should be the game where we turn things around. I’ll go for a 2-1 win but would settle for a draw to be honest.
