Poll results: Did fans prefer Pearce or Morrison?

Vital Reading asked Royals fans during the week, whether they would prefer to keep Alex Pearce and Sean Morrison and here are the results.

Alex Pearce – 22%
Sean Morrison – 78%

Well, it looks like the Royals fans have got their wish, as Morrison is a clear winner in the poll. Pearce has now officially released by the club, so it is very unlikely that he will remain a Reading player anyway, with Sean Morrison very much set to stay.

I wouldn’t really argue with this, as Morrison certainly has the greater pedigree. Pearcey was a solid defender, but was not particularly agile. Morrison, in comparison, has better stature and his distribution has greatly improved. If Pearce does go to Liverpool, I think Brendan Rodgers may get a nasty shock with Pearce…..
