The missing man Jimmy Kebe has not played football in over three months, but could well be off to Norwich this summer.

The Daily Star is reporting that the pacey winger could be heading to Norfolk for a fee of £2.5 million, with Chris Hughton reportedly an admirer of Jimmy. The 29-year old only played 17 games for the Royals this season, but did contribute with a respectable five goal tally.

A hamstring injury suffered against Everton prevented Jimmy from any involvement for the rest of the season, leading to Hal Robson-Kanu taking his opportunity in the spotlight. Some fans even believe that Jimmy has wanted to leave since Brian McDermott left the club.

Has Jimmy got anything left to give at the age of 29? I’m not so sure. For a player that has relied on his fantastic pace and fitness, it seems his best days are far behind him now. I doubt a Premier League move will be in the offering, with his future at the Madejski Stadium also in doubt.
