Poll results: Best signing of January

During the week, Vital Reading asked Royals fans who they felt has been the best signing of the January window, and here are the results….

The overwhelming winner and deservedly so, is our January signing from Fulham, Stephen Kelly! The Republic of Ireland international has not put a foot wrong since coming into the Reading side and has added needed experience to our youthful backline.

Hope Akpan came second in the poll, after making good early impressions following his move from Crawley. Unfortunately Nick Blackman and Daniel Carrico didn’t get a large number of votes, but in the long-term, will no doubt be very crucial to us.
