Importance of Saturday (Rosenior)

Liam Rosenior has expressed his views on how important he feels the Premier League clash with Blackburn this Saturday is, his views this is a possible season definer.

Reading responded to the 7-4 defeat at Portsmouth with a hard fought 1-0 win over Derby in the last Premier League match before the international break, and now Rosenior feels that the outcome of this Saturday’s game, which could either pull Reading further away from the drop zone or see them drawn back in could shape the whole season from now on in, “We are all aware of how important the Blackburn match is, three points puts us back up where we want to be and a loss puts us where we don’t want to be,” Rosenior told readingfc.co.uk.

“It’s the sort of game that that can shape your season and we know how important that is.”

This match, as with every match is important but I don’t quite share Rosenior’s views personally. A win will make the table look even better for Reading but a defeat against Blackburn, who are hard to beat at Ewood Park and will be right at the top end of the table come May wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

Another very big game, and a game which most would settle for a point from. Defeat would not be the end of the world though.

How is Rosenior doing? I thought he was a great prospect when he played for Fulham!

I think he is doing alright, and I agree that I thought he was doing a good job at Fulham. He’s not Irish though is he so Sanchez didn’t like him! I don’t think Sanchez will last long though anyway.
