Henry set for Millwall

Woodley born Henry is a graduate from the Royals academy and has been at the club since he was a boy, and even turned down the chance to sign for Chelsea as a youngster to stay at the club. However his stay in Berkshire appears to be over after a fee was agreed for his sale to Millwall, where he has spent time on loan in the previous 2 seasons.

Whilst a member of the first team squad that went to Slovenia last week, he has never forced his way into the side on a regular basis and is behind the likes of Jimmy Kebe, Jobi McAnuff and Hal Robson Kanu for a place on the wing in Brian McDermott`s side.

He will now travel to discuss personnel terms and take a medical before the move is confirmed reducing the numbers in the Royals squad even further. Hopefully though this will free up more space on the wage bill and give McDermott the option to bring in some new faces.

Shame if he goes, can deliver a great ball into the box but cannot be guaranteed first team football here, which I am sure he would get at Millwall.
