Double blow for Royals

Off the back of a second half collapse at Fulham on Saturday, there was more bad news today.

Firstly, Aaron Tshibola, who has been so impressive this season, has been ruled out for up to 3 months with an ankle injury. The young central midfielder has been a revelation since coming back on loan from Hartlepool.

Tshibola has been a key figure in the middle of the park during our strong start to this campaign. At times this season, Aaron has been picked ahead of Danny Williams to partner Oliver Norwood and has put in some incredibly important performances and he’ll be a big miss.

However, this isn’t the only bad news in the Reading camp this afternoon as Lucas Piazon is wanted by Canadian Police in connection with an alleged sexual assault.

Although he is innocent until proved guilty, if Piazon does happen to be guilty, he won’t be welcome at our club any longer.

Lucas has recently been showing his potential and has stamped his claim in the starting eleven, scoring twice.

Hopefully Piazon is innocent and he can continue this season at Reading and become a great footballer.
