Vital Reading takes a look at some team news, ahead of tomorrow’s game at Sheffield Wednesday.

Nigel Adkins could being back both Danny Guthrie and Stephen Kelly into the Royals squad, after playing 45 minutes each in a friendly on Tuesday, but would only make the bench if so. Forward Hal Robson-Kanu is back in training, but won’t be considered for selection.

There is no chance in the long-term absentees, with the central midfield duo of Jem Karacan and Danny Williams still a few months away. The same applies to Garath McCleary and Shaun Cummings, while Aaron Tshibola and Craig Tanner are a few weeks away.

One player who won’t be coming back to haunt us is Royston Drenthe, who is illegible, as a part of his loan deal. Kieran Lee and Sam Hutchinson are still not ready for a return to action, but Wednesday could welcome back Hallam Hope from a hamstring injury.
