It looks like Hal Robson-Kanu’s agent-brother is at it again, brainwashing another one of his clients.

David Robson-Kanu is the agent of his brother Hal, as well as the released Alex Pearce, who has been chasing his big move for half a year now. Brainwashed much? Probably, and looking at recent quotes from HRK, it appears that the 24-year old could be seeking a move back to the Premier League, but seems quite happy to stay with the Royals for now.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Welsh international said: ‘Scoring seven goals, I ended up the highest scoring midfielder in the Premier League in Reading’s history, which was nice on a personal note. After coming through the academy it would be hard for me to leave, but in terms of my personal ambition I want to play in the Premier League.’

‘I want to play for a top-four club. Brian had his way of playing, as does Nigel Adkins – it’s attacking, it’s fast and next season we have got every opportunity of going straight back up with the nucleus of the squad and a lot of young players who are hungry.’

There is a reason that football agents carry a certain reputation these days and if he is pushing HRK into forcing a transfer, is certainly not helping this perception. You can’t be for sure that his brother is behind this hint at a transfer, but is likely to have something to do with it.
