The Royals were in action at Hogwood on Wednesday afternoon, as the reserves took on their Swansea counterparts in a behind closed doors friendly. We put out a strong side and ran out comfortable winners 3-1.

The goals were scored by forgotten man Gunnar Thorvaldsson (2) and James Henry, whilst Matt Mills played the first half after his suspension came to an end in preperation for a first team return at Watford on Saturday.

Hal Robson Kanu, Jem Karacan, Scott Davies, Shaun Cummings, Nicholas Bignall and Ben Hamer were the other first team players to feature.

The only bad news was Henry limping off after scoring his goal and he is a doubt for Saturday. The winger got an extended run out against Peterborough last weekend and has been on the bench for the last few first team games.
