Reading take on Huddersfield tonight in yet another Championship game in this busy period. The home side head into this one just outside the play offs after three games without a win. Whilst the visitors are sat in 16th.

However, it’s going to be another tough affair for the Royals as the fight at the top heats up.

Predicted Line-ups

Al-Habsi; Gunter, Ferdinand, McShane, Obita; Norwood, Williams; Hurtado, Sa, Vydra, Blackman.

Steer; Craine, Hudson, Lynch, Davidson; Carayol, Dempsey, Huws, Bunn; Wells, Miller

Reading Team News:

Ferdinand will be looking to start after finally coming back from injury. Hurtado, John, Mccleary and Piazon will all be fighting for that last attacking position. Jordan Obita may well replace Taylor at left back, whilst Samuel may get a place on the bench. Quinn and Kanu both out.

Player to watch: Matej Vydra

After Vydra got his first goal for the Royals last time out, you’d think the Czech forward would now kick on.

That goal may well be a pivotal moment in both his and the clubs season and tonight we could see the best of Matej.

Huddersfield Team News:

Influential midfielder, Dean Whitehead, is missing through suspension. Hogg and Smith are both doubts through injury.

Vaughn is available after suspension and Wallace and Lolley are back from Loan spells.

Dempsey will be looking to take Whiteheads place in midfield.

Player to watch: Nahki Wells

Every time the Striker has played Reading, Wells has caused us real problems.

One of the most important things for the home side this evening is keeping the pacey forward quiet and McShane could be the difference.

Did You Know?

Huddersfield are unbeaten against Reading in three league games.

Match Prediction:

Reading really need a win under their belts after three games without three points.

Against strugglers Huddersfield, you’ve got to think The Royals will get back to winning ways, but you never know in this league.
