Reading are considering making an offer for Swansea striker Danny Graham, according to The People.

The 27-year old had a very promising start to his Swans career, thriving under the management of Brendan Rodgers in the last campaign. However, Graham has struggled to nail down a regular starting place under Michael Laudrup, with Michu and Shechter ahead of him in the pecking order.

The reported fee set to be offered to the Welsh outfit is around £4 million, which if true, is likely to be accepted. However, this move could depend on the Royals’ summer signing Pavel Pogrebnyak leaving the club, as the Russian has found it hard to settle into the Berkshire side.

I quite like the sound of Danny Graham, but my worry is, what does he offer that someone like Le Fondre doesn’t? £4 million is a lot of money for a football club of our stature and I would much rather that money go towards a defensive investment, or a new centre-midfielder.
