Reading draw League One opponents in cup

Nigel Adkins’ men will travel to Peterborough for the second round of the Capital One Cup.

Reading were given a bye in the first round of the competition, but following this afternoon’s travel, will travel to London Road. The game is due to take place on Tuesday 27th August, but could be moved to the following day.

We faced Posh in the same stage of the league cup last year at the Madejski Stadium, where the Royals were 3-2 winners. For the interest of fans wanting to go due to the standing terraces, it will not be available due to them replacing it with seating in the next few months!
