Reading chasing Newcastle midfielder

Reading are considering a move for Newcastle midfielder Danny Guthrie, according to the Daily Mail.

The 25-year old midfielder is out of contract in the summer and is highly unlikely to sign a new deal at St. James’ Park unless he is guaranteed first team football under Alan Pardew. Guthrie has struggled to find a way into the team with the form of Cabaye and Titote.

Villa are also keen on the former Liverpool player, who has made 92 appearances for the Magpies and scoring seven goals in the process. Reading are also believed to be interested in Colombian midfielder Carlos Sanchez, more on that story in a few hours…..
