Reading winger Michail Antonio has said he is still unsure over his future with Royals, but would be open to join Sheffield Wednesday again.

The 22-year old has enjoyed a fantastic loan spell on loan with the Owls, helping them to gain promotion from League One into the Championship. Antonio scored the opening goal in their 2-0 win over Wycombe on Saturday which guaranteed their promotion back to the second flight at the third attempt.

Speaking to the The Star, Antonio said: “Right now I don`t know what`s going to happen and I`m probably going to back to Reading for pre-season, but anything can happen in the summer. I could be in their 25-man squad, or I could be somewhere else. I have enjoyed my time here, I could never say ‘no`.’

‘The fans have taken to me and I have taken to the club. I have enjoyed every single minute. I came here to play games – I`ve played in 14 games and had 90 minutes in most of them; it`s given me confidence and I`ve got goals and done well. When I go out there I just tell myself I`m the best on the pitch; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.’

The former Tooting and Mitcham winger has started two games for Brian McDermott’s side this season, before moving on loan to Owls in February after Jimmy Kebe regained fitness. He has also enjoyed a loan spell with League One outfit Colchester United this season, playing 15 games and scoring four goals for the U’s.
