Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd watched his side draw with Derby at the weekend then admitted that Reading will be a different kettle of fish when the two sides meet at the Mad Stad on Saturday.
The Hornets now sit in fourth place in the table on 68 points, one behind Leeds in third, but the Yorkshire side have a game in hand.
‘Playing Reading away is going to be a different proposition to playing Derby at home, because they came here, flooded midfield and played one up front,’ Boothroyd said.
‘They came for the draw but I’ve no problem with that – I’ve total respect for Derby and they came here to get what they needed.
‘If we win our next nine matches between now and the end of the season then I think we’ll do it, I believe we’ll get an automatic promotion spot.
‘But there are a lot more twists and turns to be taken between now and the end of the season and all I’m doing now is focusing on the next game.’

Not an overly accurate report considering Giles Barnes plays for Derby. He scored to make it 2-1 to Derby 4 minutes from the end. It was youngster Al Nabgura that grabbed the equaliser.
