Yes – the money could have been invested better 54%
No – he should be given a chance 46%
Despite a slight majority saying the £1.2 million spent on the forward could have been spent better, a similar amount have said we need to give him a chance. Blackman started again against QPR on Sunday on the right wing, but I think we can agree he was largely uninspiring.
In his defence, Blackman has mainly played through the middle during his career, hence his decent goal record for Sheffield United this season. I think a loan back to League One next season will do him a huge favour, as I don’t think he is even ready for the Championship yet.
