There will be no appeal over Dave Kitson`s red card that he picked up at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Kitson found himself landed with a three match ban after seeing red after being on the field for just 37 seconds of Sunday`s game. And he can`t really complain, he did go in for a tackle with Patrice Evra with a little over exuberance.
Now the former Cambridge striker will miss Wednesday`s game against Everton at the Madejski Stadium, Saturday`s visit of Everton and the trip to the Reebok to take on Bolton on August 25th.
The next time Kitson will be available to play is for the Carling Cup second round tie at the end of August.

I don’t think it was intentional, but it was reckless.
Seen worse _ yellow would have been fair
Lets face it, that Evra needed bringing down a peg or two. Good on Kitson
And you have to take into account that the referee was Styles, the worlds biggest bell end with a whistle.
Yes, Styles was an arse, but Kitson did go in a bit crazy. I agree with Lion, a yellow would have done
straight red was the only outcome, his studs were showing and it was high!
Yellow certainly a fair call, looked ugly but wasn’t as bad as it appeared. But hey hoo!
