Nicky Hammond to West Brom

Reading’s director of football, Nicky Hammond left Reading to join West Brom as their technical director.

Hammond has had his critics, but no one can argue that he has done some great things for this club, such as starting up the academy 20 years ago and also being apart of many good deals for Reading football club.

In the past, Hammond has turned down options to join different clubs and he’s been very loyal. Does this show there is something wrong behind the scenes or does he just fancy a change?

It’ll be interesting to see who now comes in and whether things change in terms of incoming’s in the summer.

We all knew it was a big summer ahead and that may just have got bigger with this news.
