On-loan Huddersfield defender Sean Morrison has said that he is unsure about his future at parent club Reading but admits he is happy with the Terriers.

The 21-year old has been an ever-present since joining the League One side in January, making 17 appearances and scoring one goal in his tenure. Sean has admitted that is very pleased for his team mates back in Berkshire but is unsure about his future at the Premier League club.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, Morrison said: ‘I’m just concentrating on the job at hand. I still have two years left on my contract with Reading. It’s impossible for me to say at the moment. I’m loving my time here and hopefully I can get a promotion. The main thing on my agenda is just finishing the league season well and gathering a bit of momentum.’

‘I was involved in some squads earlier this season but the results they’ve picked up recently have been outstanding. Obviously I’m happy for the lads and I’ve got some good friends there so I’m extremely pleased that they’ve got promotion. They fully deserve it and the coaching staff all deserve massive congratulations.’

The former Swindon defender has only made one cup start for the Royals since joining from the Robins in 2011 for a £250k, in a loss 2-1 loss to Charlton where he scored the Royals’ only goal. Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson has been very pleased with Morrison’s progress, already stating his desire his stay beyond the end of the season.
