Reading manager Brian McDermott has encouraged all Reading fans to get down to the Madejski Stadium to watch the youth side in the FA Cup action against West Brom tomorrow night.

The club have also organised a pre-game event where six of the first team squad will be in the megastore for a signing session. Academy graduates Hal Robson-Kanu, Alex Pearce, Simon Church and Jem Karacan will be present, along with Shaun Cummings and Joe Mills.

McDermott told the Reading Post: ‘I hope the fans can come out and support the boys because it would mean a lot to them. It`s a big game against West Brom and it gives us another opportunity to get into the next round with another home game.’

Prices for the game are £1 for under 21s and over 65s and adults are just £3. Entry can be gained through the West Stand and all parking on the night is free. The game will kick off at 7pm.

The youth side have been in magnificent form this season, having already earned a 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough in the previous round. They have followed that up with two wins on the bounce in the league against Watford and Cardiff.
