Glen Little is aiming to make his first appearance for the Royals this season in tonights fixture against Manchester City.
The winger, who is expected to start on the bench, has recovered from a niggling hamstring injury that he has carried since pre-season, in time for tonights televised clash with Manchester City (Sky Sports 1, from 7.30pm).
Captain Graeme Murty is expected to have made a full recovery from the knee injury suffered in training last week.
Murty gashed his knee in a freak training ground accident, after being lashed by a bungee style rope as part of a running exercise.
Definitely missing however will be striker Dave Kitson and defender Sam Sodje who are both still sidelined with knee problems. Kitson’s absence means a third successive start for Leroy Lita who must win over fans and team-mates alike after his recent off pitch exploits.
Apart from this Reading are at full strength for the visit of a side whom the Royals must surely aim to beat. With fixtures against the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham, Spurs and Portsmouth coming up the next two games against Man City and Sheffield United will be seen as crucial to get some points on board before the hard run of games.
A win tonight could see Reading climb to the promising position of 8th, although a third straight defeat would mean a difficult couple of months beckon for Coppell’s side.

Expected line ups:
Reading – Hahnemann, Murty, Sonko, Ingimarsson, Shorey, Convey, Harper, Sidwell, Seol, Lita, Doyle.

Subs from: Stack, Gunnarsson, Hunt, Oster, Long, Bikey, Halls, De La Cruz.

Man City – Weaver, Richards, Distin, Dunne, Jordan, Sinclair, Dabo, Hamann, Barton, Corradi, Dickov.

Subs from: Hart, Trabelsi, Ireland, Miller, Mills, Samaras.

Full match coverage is on Sky Sports 1 from 7.30pm. Kick off 8pm
