Loan target McDonald joins Scunny

The Royals have been linked with Burnley’s Kevin McDonald in recent weeks, but that speculation has now come to an end after he joined another Championship team.


The Scottish midfielder has opted to join Scunthorpe on a months loan, after Brian McDermott opted not to move for the former Dundee player.


With a number of first team players not fit, it looks unlikely we will move in the loan market instead going with what we have got until January at least.
