On the back of a seventh straight win, Reading come into this game against play-off chasing Leicester. The Royals are firmly in contention for promotion, while the Foxes are struggling for consistency but find themselves in and round the play-off pack.

Vital Quotes:

Reading manager Brian McDermott – ‘I’m looking forward to it, hopefully it’s a sunny day and Leicester will bring a few as well. Obviously they spent a lot of money in the summer and there was a lot of talk about where they could be this season, so they’re still fighting and they’re in a good run of form – I think it’s two wins in three. They’ll expect a good end to the season and try to get themselves into the play-offs.’

Leicester boss Nigel Pearson – ‘They’ll be a tough proposition but we know when we’re at our best we’re capable of beating anyone. As it is every week, we have to make sure our own game is in order first and foremost. It’ll be a tough game, but we have a lot to play for ourselves. It’s about what we do ourselves, making sure we’re competitive and then trying to deal with their threats.’

Reading Team News:

Reading will definately be without Matthew Connolly who has an ankle injury, so Shaun Cummings will continue at right back. Winger Jimmy Kebe will face a late fitness test after picking up a knock last week.

Player to watch: Noel Hunt

Scored in the reverse fixture and is sure to cause the Foxes defence some problems in the air. With his place strongly under threat from Adam Le Fondre, he will need a strong performance.

Leicester Team News:

Nigel Pearson has no recent injury problems in the terms of his squad. Left back Paul Konchesky will serve the second game of his three match ban.

Player to watch: David Nugent

The former England striker has arguable been one of the Foxes’ best players this season and will be a handful alongside Jermaine Beckford.
