On the back a famous victory at West Ham, Reading return home to Berkshire to face an injury-ridden Leeds United on Good Friday. Reading can go top temporarily with a win, while Neil Warnock’s side need a result to have any chance of the play-offs.

Vital Quotes:

Reading striker Jason Roberts – ‘I joined Reading to play Premier League football. I’ve had a successful spell in the Premier League over the past six or seven seasons and finished in the top 10 scorers a few times. I want some more of that.

Leeds boss Neil Warnock – ‘When you look at the way we played against Watford. There is also the three players suspended, Aidy White is injured and a couple of the lads have viruses, there are all sorts of problems at the club at the minute. As we talk, I haven`t got a clue what the team will be on Friday and we are playing the best team in the league.’

Reading Team News:

Midfielder Jem Karacan and Jimmy Kebe both picked up knocks against West Ham last week but should be fine for this game. Defenders Matt Connolly and Joseph Mills are long-term absentee’s.

Player to watch: Jason Roberts

The experienced striker returned from injury last week against West Ham but continued to show signs of his previous fantastic form. Will be a handful for a likely youthful Leeds back line.

Leeds Team News:

Leeds have a host of injury and suspension problems in the build up to this game. Both Adam Clayton and Paul Connolly are suspended, while Aiden White has an ankle problem.

Player to watch: Robert Snodgrass

The Scottish international is always likely to cause problems on either wing, with good use of both feet and creating something out of nothing.

Reverse fixture:

Leeds 0 – 1 Reading

Church (2)

Match Prediction:

Whether Leeds have a depleted squad or not, its always going to be a tough game. However, we should come through this 2-0 considering Leeds weakened defence.
