The 25-year old striker would usually be playing second fiddle to Jordan Rhodes, but in recent weeks, has become more prolific than the Scotsman. Gestede, a former target for the Royals many years ago, has scored three goals in six games since joining Rovers permanently.
His 6’4 frame makes him a notable threat in the air, something which I’m sure his strike partner Rhodes wants to thrive on, despite being goalless in eight games. Him and Rhodes will be handful for Gorkss and Pearce, but in terms are physicality, it should match their game.
