Key man watch: Diego Poyet

Vital Reading takes a look at the opposition’s key man, ahead of our game with Charlton.

The 18-year old, who is the son of Sunderland boss Gus Poyet, is making a good name for himself at the Valley, where he has established himself as a regular in the side. Poyet has also represented England at youth level, despite obviously being open to play for Uruguay.

A midfielder with good composure on the ball and ability to pick out a pass, which has gained reported interested from both Tottenham and Arsenal. Could he even be the sort of player that could tickle Adkins’ interest in the summer? You never know.
