It has been highlighted constantly how badly Reading are doing this season, even though in all truth things are not as bad as people are making out, but Steve Coppell has been quick to speak out.
Reading have found it very tough going on the road this season, but at home it is a different story. They can’t keep relying on this, but Coppell, even though he might not be enjoying his job, or so he says, has reminded people that in the clubs 130 years things have never been better, “People forget we are on the back of two very good seasons and still making history week after week. It’s never been as good as this at Reading in 130 years.”
Things might not be great this season, but they are still good and this sort of puts things into perspective.

Yes we should enjoy these times, and in all fairness most Reading fans are, it is just those outsiders that don’t seem to be.
If you could just pick up a few points away from home. Your home form is very solid.
That’s the thing, home form is fine, but we can’t keep relying on that.
