Is Mifsud the Answer?

Steve Coppell admits that he will spend money, now suddenly Reading are linked with a big money move for Coventry striker Michael Mifsud, two and two put together perhaps?

The tabloids are saying that Coppell had sent Wally Downes to check on the Maltese striker, who shot to fame with his goals to knock Manchester United out of the Carling Cup this season, and as such a January move could see him sign for as much as £5million, something which seems unlikely in my opinion.

A striker doesn’t seem to be the highest of priorities for Coppell so this money would be better spent elsewhere, so I cant see this coming off.

In my opinion, I’d leave him alone, not sure he’s got what it takes for the top flight after all the United goals were against Fergies kids!

again….he shot to fame after one game really…there are better options out there I think for $5 millionish…………….

Just as I suspected, and I wouldn’t expect such a move to be made just newspapers filling up column inches.
