A round-up of off the second international games that some of the Royals’ squad was involved in this week.

One face for returned for his country was winger Hal Robson-Kanu, who was suspended for Wales’ defeat to Macedonia on Friday. However, HRK was only a substitute and was helpless to deny the Welsh another defeat at the hands of Serbia, in his short 15 minute cameo spell.

Another Reading player representing the dragons was defender Chris Gunter, who played the full game for Chris Coleman’s side. Fellow defender Kaspars Gorkss captained Latvia, as they were narrowly edged out by Greece 1-0.

Right back Shaun Cummings earned his second cap for Jamaica, as they drew 1-1 against Costa Rica this morning. Teammates Jobi McAnuff and Garath McCleary were also involved for the full 90 minutes. Unfortunately, the Reggae Boyz chances of qualifying for the World Cup are virtually over.
