Harper mulls over Wolves move

Harper, currently the clubs longest serving player after joining in 2001, heard news of the club accepting a bid in the region of £2million on Wednesday and travelled to the Midlands to discuss the move. However he returned to training with the Royals on Thursday and is yet to decide whether to make a return to the top flight.

If he joined Wolves, he would link up with former team mates Kevin Doyle and Marcus Hahnemann who singed on at Molineux this summer.

Whilst Harper has been a great servent to the club, and is a far better player than many give him credit for, perhaps now is the time for him to move on especially when you look at the number of players with have in that position.

It does seem like Wolves have an obsession with our 2005/2006 championship winning team. Watch out Aldershot, they might be after your new signing John Halls!

As a Wolves fan, i would be thrilled to see us sign John Halls, he was a quality player during his time at Stoke and would make perfect back up for Kevin Foley!
