Enjoy the match!

‘Enjoy the Match’ aims to promote a family friendly atmosphere at matches and last season, delivered a significant increase in the numbers of families attending matches. More than two million fans watched Football League matches with members of their family during 2008/09.

This season, there will be a renewed focus on removing abusive language and aggressive behaviour from family areas with clubs stewarding these parts of grounds.

To kick-off the new campaign The Football League has released its 2009/10 ‘Enjoy the Match’ advert which will be shown online and on big screens at matches. It features Justin Moorhouse – star of Phoenix Nights and hit film Looking for Eric.
