Reading striker Kevin Doyle has won an award before the season ends. The Eircom/FAI have crowned him their Under-21 international Player of the Year.

22 year old Doyle arrived at the Mad Stad in June and has been inspirational in Readings push for the Premiership this season which has seen them take the top of the table by storm.

Doyle has made 41 appearances and scored 15 goals in the process. But before that he helped his former club Cork to the Eircom League title.
