Steve Coppell has said he will use as many of his players as possible in the friendly at Didcot Town this weekend.

The game at Loop Meadow Stadium is Reading`s first of the pre-season campaign and it will give Coppell a good opportunity to assess the players mentality and capabilities following relegation from the Premier League.

The Royals boss admitted that he will ask his team to take it easy on Saturday as they head towards a busy few weeks of friendlies.

Coppell said, ‘I will take all the players who are training with us at the moment just to have a taste of the new campaign.

‘We have fixtures next week where we will be asking more of them, but after a week`s playing I only want them to do 45 minutes.`

Meanwhile, Reading`s new kit will be unveiled this afternoon at 4.30pm. The kit will feature the name of new sponsor Waitrose and is made by Puma.
