Coppell Secures Second Award

Steve Coppell has secured a brace of awards!

The Reading boss has won the Coca-Cola Championship manager of the month award for the second month in a row.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: ‘It was very hard to look further than Steve Coppell for the award this month. Reading had a tough set of fixtures in November and to come through unbeaten just shows how well they have been playing. Steve deserves all the accolades for the way in which his side have gone to the top of the Championship this month.’

The Royals boss was recognised for his management skills in October as well and has taken the team to first in the Championship with fifteen wins, five draws and only one loss for the season to date. Reading are currently four points better off than second place Sheffield United.
