Coppell Prepared to Sell Lita?

Leroy Lita has been criticised for his form this season by Steve Coppell, and his off the field antics haven’t really done him too many favours either, so if the rumourmongers are right Lita could be sold in January.

During the summer he had an impressive tournament for the England Under 21 side, and was being linked with moves away from Reading, with his reluctance to commit to a new contract sighted as a reason, but he stayed.

However, he then picked up a bizarre bedroom pre-season injury, with his form being questioned by Coppell since his return, to make matters worse he made the news for the wrong reasons with his off the field actions, and this could be the straw to break the camels back, so he could be sold in January?

I hope that he stays as with him Dave Kitson, Kevin Doyle and Shane Long we have a very good strike force. He has brought shame on himself for what he did (if true) but if it was up to me he would stay.

what did he do that brought shame on him? i think he’s a rather good little striker

No one is bigger than the club! I want Leroy to stay but if Stevie thinks it is best to sell him let him go.

I think he could do very well playing alongside David Nugent, but I wouldn’t bank on it. If he did go to Portsmouth maybe Reading will get Nugent in return?

The shame daspecial1 was his home movie that he shared with his team-mates, which they shared with others.
