After losing his head after getting sent off at Turf Moor in the play off semi final first leg, the last place Bikey would have imagined playing his first game following his extended suspension is Burnley’s home ground but that could be case!

Burnley have admired Bikey from a far all summer, and after an opening day defeat to Stoke in their first Premiership game, manager Owen Coyle has now put his money where his mouth is and the Royals are rumoured to have accepted a £2.8million bid.

Burnley are desperate to sign him before their game on Wednesday night against Manchester United and if he is signed after the Royals game at Swansea tomorrow he could be inline to make his debut against the Champions under the same loophole that saw Sebastian Bassong make his Spurs debut on Sunday after waiting to sign papers to complete the deal after Newcastle’s first game of the season against West Brom.

Brendan Rodgers is desperate to keep hold of the Cameroon defender but is likely to see yet another player sold from his squad.
