Yet another Reading youngster, 18-year-old Adam Bygrave has gone out on loan to help him gain league experience.

Bygrave has yet to make his first team debut but goes out on an initial one month loan to League One side Gillingham in order to not only help them out with a defensive injury crisis they currently have, but to also gain first team experience.

New Gillingham boss Mark Stimson is pleased to have him on board, “Adam is a player I rate highly,” Stimson told gillinghamfootballclub.premiumtv.co.uk.

“I’ve watched him a number of times for Reading’s reserve team and I think he will do a good job for us. He has all the needed qualities and I thank Steve Coppell for allowing him to come here and play games.”

Reading have nearly a full sides worth of young talent out on loan, talent coming through that shows we shouldn’t ever be short of players, and quality players at that.
