Vital poll result: Fans want back-up left back

Vital Reading asked fans during the week whether we need a back-up left back to come in and here are the (one-sided) results.

Yes – Kelly isn’t good enough back up 95%
No – Kelly and Cummings provide enough cover 5%


That poll was about as one-sided as Stephen Kelly’s defending capability, if you get my drift? It is clear that Kelly is an accomplished right back, but not a left back, especially on the showing of Sheffield Wednesday and Michail Antonio giving him a runaround.

Hopefully Bridge will be back for today’s game, but if this is going to be a constant injury problem, then Adkins needs to get decent back up in, most likely on loan. Shaun Cummings did a decent job there against Yeovil, so I still consider him a option, but Adkins obviously doesn’t.
