Vital poll result: Fans still confident of autos

Vital Reading asked Royals fans whether they would take a play off spot now and here are the results.

Yes – we haven’t got enough for autos 32%
No – we still have a good chance of autos 68%

So despite our slow start, it appears fans are still quietly confident that the automatic places are still within capable reach. We currently sit sixth in the table on 18 points, two points off autos, but it will start to even itself out over Christmas time.

I am fairly confident we will finish in the top six, but autos I’m not so sure. QPR seem a safe bet for one of those spots, with the likes of ourselves, Watford, Nottingham Forest, Wigan and Leicester likely to be filling up the rest of the top spots. We will see!
