After another long and winding international break, proper football is back! We welcome high flying Wolves to the Madejski Stadium, here is some team news for both sides.

Jaap Stam will be sweating over the fitness of goalkeeper Vito Mannone, who picked up a knock against Derby. Tiago Illori is back in contention after his nasty injury picked up against Boro, but is only expected to make the bench anyway. Jordan Obita remains a long-term absentee.

No timescale has been given on the return of Stephen Quinn, while Stam confirmed midfielder George Evans is no closer to returning. Winger Callum Harriott is yet to make an appearance this season due to injury, so won’t be considered as he continues to build his fitness.

Striker Joseph Mendes is out injured, but Jon Dadi Bodvarsson should return to the squad after missing the last three games with injury. Sone Aluko picked up a knock against Derby, but should be fit, while Garath McCleary is still expected to be sidelined with injury.

Wolves are looking very healthy on the injury front, and are only missing Barry Douglas due a one-game suspension for picking up five bookings. There is unlikely to be any changes made the league leaders from their 2-0 victory over Fulham, with no injuries picked up in the international break.
