It’s a quick turn around from our loss to Wolves on Saturday, as we have a long trip up to Bolton tonight. We take a look at some team news for both teams.

Bolton could welcome back former Royals player Adam le Fondre to the squad, as he has recovered from a calf issue. It would be a timely return with Aaron Wilbraham still out injured, while our former academy graduate Jem Karacan could return to the squad after an injury lay off.

The Royals reunion continues with Bolton boss and Reading legend Phil Parkinson having a few injury and suspension problems in defence, one of which being our former loanee Andrew Taylor who is still sidelined. Central defender Mark Beevers has a one game suspension, while Mark Little is also sidelined.

Reading will be without Joey van den Berg for this game, as he serves a one-game suspension for picking up his fifth booking of the season against Wolves. However, Stam will be boosted by the return of Liam Kelly from injury, but Garath McCleary is still sidelined with no return date.

Jordan Obita is unlikely to play anymore football this season, while Callum Harriott is slowly building his return to fitness but won’t be considered. No return date has been given on striker Joseph Mendes, but 17-year old Danny Loader has travelled with the first team squad.
