Young midfielder Jake Taylor has joined League One outfit Exeter City on a one-month loan deal, with the Grecians having the opportunity to extend the deal beyond the original period.
The 19-year old has already spent time in the lower leagues this season with Aldershot Town, where he made three appearances but has now made the step up to League One.
Taylor carries some international experience with him, having already played for the Wales U17s, U19s and most recently the U21s where he has been a crucial player for Brian Flynn’s side.
He only has one Royals appearance to his name, coming on a substitute on the last game of the season last term against Derby County. Taylor has also made cameo appearances in cup games.
