Stevie May`s late deflected strike gave Sheffield Wednesday their first home victory of the season and confined Reading to their first defeat in five games.

It was a cagey first half from both sides, with just one shot on target in total. Unfortunately for Glenn Murray, it was a missed penalty, as he won the spot kick, but was saved by Keiran Westwood in the Wednesday goal. Nick Blackman wanted to take it, but Murray insisted.

Into the second half, Jake Cooper and Glenn Murray went close from corners, as we were looking very threatening from set pieces. The winner came seven minutes from time though and it wasn`t the right way from our point of view, as Stevie May`s deflected free kick sealed the points.
