Everyone thought they had seen the back of old-boy Robbie Savage at the Madejski Stadium but it appears not as with his Stricly Come Dancing partner Ola Jordan, he will perform live at half time.
The former Welsh midfielder finished his career with tonight’s opponents Derby County against the Royals at the end of last season, getting a fantastic reception from both supporters.
This reception the Reading fans gave him created a bond in his heart, which has seen him favour the Royals on many occasions, tipping us to win the play-off’s and calling us the ‘Best Fans’.
Savage and Ola will perform their jive to the song Love Man by Otis Redding at half time which will surely be a surreal experience which many fans wouldn’t like to miss!
