A Reading XI side beat Didcot Town 3-2 in a friendly on Tuesday night.



Development coach Chris Cummins named two different sides for this game at the Loop Meadow Stadium, with the first half team containing experienced names such as Karl Sheppard, Michael Hector and Lawson D’Ath. The Royals ran rampant in the first half as they scored three goals, thanks to Sheppard, Ryan Edwards and Jordan Obita. Didcot come out fighting in the second half with two goals but Reading saw the game out.



First Half: Henley, Keown, Griffin, Hector, Sweeney, D’Ath, Unnamed Trialist, Edwards, Obita, Samuel, Sheppard



Second Half: Moore, Arnold, Partridge, McDonald, Unnamed trialist, Tshibola, Unnamed Trialist, Lossaso, Webb, Tanner, Ugwu
