Nigel Adkins is still continuing his search for defensive reinforcements, as he has welcomed a second trialist to the club.
A picture circulated of an unknown player on the website, which has now been revealed by Charles Watts (see tweet below) as Slovenian defender, Jure Travner. The left-back is currently playing for FK Baku in the Azerbaijan Premier League, but was granted a trial with the Royals.
The trialist is Jure Travner. Slovenian defender. No indications he will sign. Is one of several trialists #readingfc have looked at.

The 29-year old had a short spell in England back in 2009, when he joined Watford, but failed to make a single appearance for the Hornets in his tenure. He then went onto play for St. Mirren, where he enjoyed a successful period, before moving onto Bulgaria, then Slovenia.
Travner is believed to be one of a few trialists that have been training with the club, with Oguchi Onyewu the only other known figure. We did receive a boost in midweek though that Anton Ferdinand is close to a return and should hopefully bolster our defensive options.
